Cell Phones and Survey Accuracy
Findings from the National Health Interview Survey
Stephen J. Blumberg of the National Center for Health Statistics
will present findings from NCHS studies on the characteristics of cell
phone users and how the growing prevalence of cell-phone only users
may be affecting telephone survey sampling accuracy. Methods for addressing
concerns about sample bias will be discussed. This program is jointly sponsored
by NYAAPOR and the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.
