EXIT POLLS:
Not Just for Elections Anymore!

Exit Polling Techniques were born and refined by their use in elections -- but many other applications exist. Come learn from one of the masters of exit polling, Joe Lenski, how to transfer exit polling methodologies to other types of survey research.

What you will Learn: In this workshop Joe Lenski will include the sampling and interview methodologies used in exit polling and how some of the unique aspects of exit polling which are different from other survey methodologies.

Joe will also demonstrate how election exit poll techniques can be applied to a variety of commercial survey research projects. He will share case studies of commercial exit polls that Edison Research has conducted in venues as varied as sports arenas, concert halls, subway stations, golf courses and truck stops. Sometimes there's just no better way to get at your target audience than a well-crafted exit poll methodology!

About the Instructor: Joe Lenski is co-founder and Executive Vice President of Edison Research which does the election projections in the United States for the six major news organizations – ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX, NBC and the Associated Press.
