SPRING 2005 EVENTS

NYAAPOR is busy preparing for new events and programs in 2005:

On February 1st, John Gilfeather from NOP World will be conducting an afternoon workshop on Report Writing Techniques. This program will be held from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at NOP World. We are also working on a special evening event, stay tuned to our next flyer and our website for updates.

Also, in February, Naomi Robbins from will hold a brown bag lunch on graphical data presentation also at NOP World.

In March, NYAAPOR will have a sampling afternoon workshop taught by current experts in the field including Warren Mitofsky from Mitofsky International.

Later in March, we will have an evening session on increasing cell phone use and the threats on RDD sampling. Linda Piekarski from Survey Sampling will moderate this session. Paul Lavrakas from Nielsen Media Research and Clyde Tucker from the Bureau of Labor Statistics will also present their viewpoints.
