Rhoda Brooks was a senior executive in the market research industry for over 30 years, working for several companies before founding International Point of Contact (IPC) in 1991. She has been an active member of NYAAPOR for many years, as a member on several committees and on the council as membership chair and program chair. She served as president of the organization in 2014-2015.
Rhoda is also a member of the Marketing Research Association, where she has been director-at-large and president. She was instrumental in creating the current alliance between NYAAPOR and Insights Association (merger of MRA-NY & CASRO).
Although dominated by data collection, her experience also includes marketing, installing and supporting CATI systems, and managing marketing research projects from design through the coding and tabulation phases.
Rhoda received her BA from Cornell University and a masters at the University of Pennsylvania. She did additional graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania and Rockefeller University.
